Detail

There are many processing methods for pipe fittings. Different processing technologies can be used according to the type, material and purpose of the pipe fittings.

Cutting:
It is mainly used to cut plates or round steel into the required blanks. Common cutting methods include flame cutting, laser cutting and mechanical cutting.

Cold processing:
The pipe fittings are processed by cold processing technology, such as cold heading, cold drawing, extrusion, drilling, turning, etc.

Hot processing:
Including hot heading, hot drawing, hot rolling, etc., used to manufacture pipe fittings that need to change the internal structure or shape of the material.

Welding:
When multiple pipe fittings need to be connected together, welding processes such as arc welding, gas welding, laser welding, etc. can be used. Welding can achieve the connectivity of the pipeline system to meet specific engineering needs.

Forming:
Includes a variety of methods, such as forging (using a forging machine to punch out the end or part of the pipe to reduce the outer diameter), roller method (placing a core in the pipe and using rollers to push the outer circumference for rounding), punching (using a tapered core on a punch press to expand the pipe end to the required size and shape), bending forming methods (such as stretching, punching, roller method, etc., used to make curved pipe fittings) and rolling method (usually without a mandrel, suitable for thick-walled pipe inner rounding).

Expansion and shrinkage:
Use the good ductility of the pipe to expand and shrink it. This processing method has high requirements for the copper content of the stainless steel pipe.

Surface treatment:
The processed pipe fittings are surface treated, such as sanding, spraying, etc., to improve their appearance quality and meet specific engineering requirements.
